Overview About the Role: The Manager Radiology, in cooperation with the Director Radiology, is accountable for planning, organizing and administratively directing the daily clinical and business operations of the Radiology Department. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including providing oversight of the administrative staff and technical staff which includes human resource functions, hiring, coaching, performance appraisals and ensuring clinical competency. The Manager will develop and manage the operational budget, purchasing, policies and procedures, and contractual agreements, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: - Provides leadership and direction for the Radiology Department and staff. Organizes, plans, and directs activities related to the Radiology Department. Clearly defines authority and responsibility for all personnel and delegates duties to staff members. - Demonstrates basic working knowledge of radiology imaging principles, techniques, and ancillary equipment as they apply to the daily operations of the department.
