Job description

Position Function: The Clinical Veterinary Fellow provides high-quality clinical care within the Small Animal Emergency Service of the Animal Health Center and supports advanced care for critically ill patients in the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a service-oriented, entry-level clinical position designed to support recent graduates, with structured mentoring and professional development provided. This position is a 2-year time-limited position. The Fellow plays a key role in delivering emergency and critical care services, collaborating with clinical faculty and staff to enhance patient outcomes, and contributing to a high standard of client and referring veterinarian service. The position also supports the teaching mission of the College through direct supervision and instruction of veterinary and veterinary technician students. Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
