Description This open position is in a highly behavioral residential home setting. We are seeking candidates with experience working with behavioral individuals. Schedules: 104-11 Mon-Fri 7:30a-9:30a: 104-14 Sun 9a-11p, Mon 2:30p-11p, Tue 1:30p-11p, Fri 3p-11p 104-17 Sun 9a-11p, Sat 9a-11p 104-18 Sun-Weds 11p-9a Full & Part Time: 40 Hours Salary: $17.50-$19 (Paid Training!): Location: Southbridge, MA: Sign On Bonus: $1000 for Full Time and $500 for Part Time employees The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can. Their support needs include, but are not limited to, household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc…so that they may always look and feel their best. The DSP may be asked to assist them to their medical appointments, banking, assist them to become active members of their community, attend outings, administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and to follow medical guidelines that are in place.
