Overview: The Portfolio Manager acts as the liaison and support for suppliers and key ABG executives to execute marketing strategies of existing brands, introduction of new products, assessment of opportunities in the market and analysis of brand performance. Responsibilities: - Acts as advocate for suppliers at monthly marketing meetings including making presentations on 90 day pricing calendars, reporting results of new product introductions, reporting results on previous months’ priorities and choosing the upcoming month’s priorities. - Responsible for pricing, programming, new items and billing for assigned suppliers. - Responsible for meeting targets on gross profit goals and profit margins on brands assigned. - Prepares and proofs prices structures on new items and price increases on existing items. - Coordinates with Purchasing and Pricing personnel on all aspects of new products with respect to item m...
