Supervisor - Respiratory Therapy - Nights 26000117 Description The Supervisor - Respiratory Therapy works under the direction of the Director - Respiratory Therapy and the Manager- Respiratory Therapy to coordinate, and operationalize staff and program activities. Serving as the front-line representative for respiratory care services management, the incumbent provides direct oversight of operations across all shifts and ensures, through observation and routine audits, that clinical practices align with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards. The Supervisor collaborates closely with the Manager to guide, coach, and monitor direct reports including administering corrective actions when necessary and completing annual performance evaluations for assigned staff. The Supervisor supports department activities and is responsible for the enforcement of hospital-wide and departmental policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and accrediting standards governing respiratory care operations, including but not limited to CMS, National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), Department of Health, and The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.
