In order to manage our ongoing growth, we are adding another Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Physician to our team. We are actively seeking enthusiastic BC/BE physicians who are interested in helping to advance our academic program. The positions in Pediatric Emergency Medicine offer unique opportunities to advance your career. We are 22 bed ED with approximately 36,00- 40,000 visits this year. Our current PEM staff is twelve physicians, including one nocturnist and one weekender. In addition, we have advanced practice providers (APP) increasing coverage. The ED is covered with 40 physician hours per day and between 16 to 32 APP hours depending on time of year. Nemours Children's Hospital is part of a unique 60-acre health campus, which includes an ambulatory diagnostic center, research, and educational facilities.
