The Opportunity RS&H is seeking to hire a CDL Training Instructor to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward, Florida Construction Academy facility in Kissimmee, FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week. This role is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom instruction in commercial driving and construction trades, preparing trainees for successful careers in the infrastructure industry. Responsibilities: - Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in CDL Class A driving. - Teach general transportation construction practices, heavy equipment operation, and jobsite safety protocols. - Develop and implement curriculum aligned with OSHA, industry standards, and workforce development goals. - Monitor trainee progress, track certification hours, and provide individualized coaching and mentorship. - Prepare trainees for CDL exams through instruction in vehicle systems, mechanics, and pre-trip inspections. - Support job placement efforts through coordination with program staff and industry partners.
