Job Description The IT Sr. Systems Administrator role is responsible for assisting the Supervisor with all of Systems Administration’s processes and systems. The role acts as the lead of the Systems Administration tools and ensures that they remain operational and configured appropriately. In addition to daily management of systems and applications, the role also acts as an escalation point for in-depth troubleshooting of system issues. The Sr. Systems Administrator will act as a teacher of skills and procedures for other members of IT Systems Administration. The IT Sr. Systems Administrator will also be expected to consider current practices in order to develop innovative and reliable solutions that will continuously improve the service quality to the business. Responsibilities: - Provides Systems Administration expertise for projects with regards to planning, designing, and delivery. - Works with the Network Operations Center and other Operations teams to resolve outages or assist with projects where required. - Mentor and coach other members of Systems Administration. - Develop documentation for Systems Administration applications and tools. - Recommend enhancements to Systems A...
