About the unit The unit, 3CN/4CN/5CN offer a dynamic patient care experience. 3CN is a ten-bed unit who specializes in general surgery, vascular, and thoracic patients. We are the only progressive care unit in the hospital that can monitor arterial lines. 4CN is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery unit. We receive patients directly from the ICU and we can monitor patients who are on various anti-arrhythmics. 5CN is focused on discharge plan and readiness. Scope of work: Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
