Location: Rochester NY, On-Site: Compensation: $40,000-$50,000, based on experience: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm: The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic level II performs tasks involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds along with maintenance of manufacturing equipment. The individual is expected to be a self-starter and work independently, while also being part of a team that maintains building security. · General maintenance duties throughout company buildings and grounds. · Responsible for light carpentry, electrical, pipe fitting, plumbing, and snow removal. · Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment. · Maintain machinery and equipment by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum performance. · Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair work on production machines. · Visually inspect and test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality. · Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems. · Ensure that a high level of safety is...
