Senior Safety Performance SME

Job description

The Senior Safety SME will be responsible to advance the state-of-the-art development activities related to vehicle safety crashworthiness. The responsibilities of this position include: - Working closely with various industry / academic experts and suppliers to interpret new regulatory requirements and work collaboratively in providing industry-based responses. - Lead the safety development strategy for new regulatory and third-party safety requirements by establishing technology roadmaps, developing appropriate design strategies, and identifying current or advanced countermeasures. - Conduct global benchmarking activities and identify trends in vehicle safety technologies and content. - Establish best practices and author / maintain globally harmonized safety procedure documents. - Represent Stellantis for all vehicle safety related development activities with various working groups and industry forums such as SAE, USCAR and crash related software user conferences. - Support root cause and issue resolution during critical product development activities. - Train and educate safety performance engineers in understanding and implementing the latest technologies. - This position requ...
