Job Description: This Systems Engineering vacancy presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the Captor Radar Mark 2 Systems Test Solution (STS) team. The role is that of Principal LRI ( Line Replaceable Installation ) Integration Engineer, where you will be an integral part of the Engineering team that is designing, integrating, testing and delivery of the latest cutting-edge Captor Radar Test Equipment, hosted both in the Edinburgh Rooflab environment and offsite Customer facilities. The types of activities to be performed include: - Carry out complex integration and test activities of Radar Processor Environment Simulator (RPES) Test Equipment with the Radar Processor LRI prior to delivery to BAE Systems. - Heavy involvement in the installation and commissioning of Test Equipment offsite at BAE premises. - Regular reporting to the STS PEL, providing technical updates on a regular basis.
