Engineer III Process

Job description

Zachry Group is seeking Process Engineer III candidates for our Downers Grove Engineering Design Center. The Process Engineer III will be responsible for routine process engineering and design tasks for assigned projects based on specific and detailed instructions received from the assigned supervisor. - Responsible for developing process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). - Responsible for development of heat and material balance information using various commercial software. - Assist with sizing and rating various equipment like pumps, horizontal and vertical vessels, heat exchangers, and air coolers. - Responsible for performing hydraulic analysis and calculations for piping systems. - Assist with design of relief system, flare header design, relief valve sizing and performing contingency analysis and flare header analysis. - Participate in various client Process Hazard Analysis reviews (i.e. risk review, HAZID, HAZOP/LOPA). - Independently evaluates, ‎selects, ‎and applies standard engineering techniques, ‎procedures and criteria, ‎using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. - Present technical information to peers or other pers...
