Physician Compensation and Benefits: Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $12,500 - $14,583 per month Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $11,730 - $19,922 per month The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Eligible employees are also able to participate in the fee waiver education program. A summary of benefit information can be found here . - This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position. - Initial appointment will be on a 12 month pay plan (salary range: $15,000 – $17,500 per month) from the date of hire through the end of the July 2026 pay period. At the beginning of the August pay period, the appointment will change to an 10/12 pay plan whereby the incumbent will work 10 months per year and are paid 12 months (10/12) with each subsequent June and July off. Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Medical Chief of Staff, the physician provides general medical care to students as assigned.
