Lead Fabricator Location: Richmond, VA Shift: 2nd Shift Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: Starts at $32.00+ (depending on experience) What You’ll Do: - Partner with shop leadership to plan daily production activities and meet delivery timelines - Oversee and support fitters and welders on the floor, ensuring adherence to safety and quality expectations - Assign tasks strategically to optimize workflow and productivity - Provide hands-on assistance with fabrication challenges, including interpreting drawings and recommending techniques - Adjust team priorities as needed to accommodate schedule changes and production demands - Collaborate with maintenance personnel to keep equipment operating efficiently and minimize downtime - Promote a team environment through clear communication, feedback, and accountability - Work closely with quality control to ensure compliance with AISC standards - Support leadership functions such as interviewing candidates, onboarding, evaluations, and employee development - Assist with time tracking, disciplinary actions, and continuous improvement initiatives - Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support shop operations What We’re Looking For: -...
