Job description

Onsite at Arnett Hospital. Mon-Fri from 6a-2:30p with one weekend approximately every 8 weeks. Some holiday shifts are required. The assignment for this position involves managing supplies within the operating room space via WaveMark scanner and RFSmart handheld device as well as within the Surgical Inventory Management space. This position includes downstacking and sorting pallets first thing in the morning before moving to the floor to specifically manage supplies for our surgery department. Not a sedentary assignment - on your feet from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave with the exception of lunch. Facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects. Ensures orders are filled timely and accurately. Verifies product by description, item number, and quantity. Inspects products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging. Performs cycle counts and physical inventories in an accurate and efficient manner. Coordinates the availability and delivery of products, to include equipment, mail and/or linen.
