Department: 38850 Navicent Health Medical Center - School Nursing Program Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday 7A - 4P; times vary per school Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Major Responsibilities: Demonstrates competency in clinical practice: - Works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, to provide direct student care according to established standards/plan of care/guidelines. - Utilizes appropriate decision making for treatments based on student’s condition, emergency treatment guidelines for schools, and when needed consultation with School Nurse. Documents all treatments in student record. - Recognizes need for and facilitates referrals to healthcare provider for further treatment. - Administers medications and performs treatments according to the established standards/plan of care. - Performs point of care testing/quality controls. - Documents legibly using concise terms, correct terminology/approved abbreviations. - Maintains clinical environment/supplies/equipment conducive to safe healthcare in the school setting. - Complies with accreditation body...
