Department of Communication Temporary Faculty Pool The Department: The Department of Communication is a robust major of approximately 100 majors at Cal Poly Humboldt with a dedicated faculty and engaged student body. We also teach the core oral-communication course required of all Cal Poly Humboldt Students. We have a single major and two minor options: Communication and Social Advocacy. The Department of Communication houses the Debate and Forensics team and the Communication Club.
