You’ll be primarily responsible for handling Pie’s monthly close operations (including internal and external reporting) with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. You’ll be responsible for regularly identifying and implementing process improvements and controls. You’ll also have valuable opportunities to help improve existing accounting processes, develop new accounting procedures, implement new financial systems, and take ownership of the company’s financial statements. How You’ll Do It: - Lead the monthly accounting close process. Manage the close calendar and monitor close status. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal company policies.
