Job description

Description The Functional Analyst II supports Operational Contract Support (OCS) capability development by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing lessons learned, observations, and operational insights from Army training, exercises, and real-world operations. This role directly supports Army modernization efforts by identifying capability gaps and recommending improvements across doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P). The analyst serves as a key contributor to data-driven decision-making processes and supports the integration of lessons learned into Army training and operational frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Lessons Learned Collection & Analysis: - Conduct structured and unstructured data collection activities, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and document reviews - Identify and capture Observations, Insights, and Lessons Learned (OILs) from exercises, deployments, and operational environments - Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, systemic issues, and operational gaps - Validate findings through collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders Data Management & Syst...
