Accounting Clerk - The Row at Assembly Row

The Row at Assembly Row, a Colwen Hotels property, is in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you would be primarily responsible for processing accounts payable and providing assistance to the Staff Accountant. General Responsibilities: - Complete Group invoicing to include prepayments and final billing according to the Colwen Standard Operating Procedure. - Maintain Accounts Receivables to under 30 days aging. - Complete and reconcile daily cash deposits, going to bank 3 times per week. - Reconcile taxes daily and verify all Tax-Exempt postings have proper backup - Code and post all invoices by the weekly deadline in order for them to be in the following Thursday check run. - Attend and participate in Weekly Resume Meeting. - Follow up on inquiries from the corporate accountant. - Post Marriott Rewards Revenue Monthly - Participate in Month-end activities such as Bank Audits, Reconciliation of cash and required reports. - Review Credit Limit Report and Guest Ledger Report Daily.
