The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Program Specialist to join our team. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As the Performing Arts Specialist, you will oversee all music, dance, and drama activities, helping campers ages 6-13 develop their skills and express their creativity. You will create lesson plans for performances, skits, and dances, and ensure that all activities are enjoyable and educational. As the primary staff member in this area, you will orient and manage other staff in your area, providing clear instructions on their roles and responsibilities in supporting campers throughout the process.
