Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Waste Pro Welder/Fabricator performs repairs to equipment parts, vehicles, and containers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear load, recycle and roll-off trucks and other assets when necessary. - Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication. - Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG gun and arc welding equipment. - Bends steel components using a break ad shear - Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch. - Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers. - Maintains Shop cleanliness by sweeping welding debris, cleaning the welding area and disposing of trash to ensure a clean safe work environment. - Follows all safety policies and procedures. - Completes required paperwork. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned. - Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA. - Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the S...
