Job Description Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Mishra Lab. Postdoctoral fellows specializing in cardiovascular physiology are particularly encouraged to apply. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a research background in cell biology, biochemistry, mitochondria, metabolism, cell signaling, cardiovascular physiology, or a related field. Our lab employs a wide range of scientific methods, including protein biochemistry, metabolism, bioenergetics, FRET, proteomics, epigenomics, and mouse genetics, providing an excellent opportunity for multidisciplinary training. The project is funded by the American Heart Association. The Postdoctoral Associate will have responsibilities in the following areas: 1. Research Conceptualization and implementation- Coordinating with and assisting the PI in the design and undertaking of experiments and grant proposal methodologies as well as methods for analyzing the results of experiments. 2.
