POSITION SUMMARY: A Cardiovascular Fellow is a physician in advanced training, focusing on the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases under the supervision of attending cardiologists, with responsibilities including patient evaluation, performing diagnostic tests like echocardiograms, assisting in invasive procedures like cardiac catheterization, and actively participating in research and scholarly activities within the field of cardiology; requiring a completed internal medicine residency and a strong commitment to clinical practice and academic advancement. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Eligible for New Jersey licensure.
