Description Under the clinical direction of a radiologist and general supervision of Patient Access Director performs and assists with workflow and modality coordination, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Perform a variety of administrative tasks that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to maximize patient flow. Assume responsibility for assisting with patient care and patient safety. Perform other related duties within the job classification or organization, as necessary. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work closely with the Patient Access Director to identify tasks to improve workflow and patient retention. - Review schedules to identify appropriate documentation of orders, CPT codes, authorization, prep, and prior imaging. - Explain proper preparation to patients prior to procedure and verify and/or obtain appropriate patient RX or verbal order (VO) pertinent to examinations ordered. - Schedule/reschedule exams as needed to meet the needs of the practice or patient. - Operate and understand all computer systems and PACS systems. - Ensure patient modesty, confidentiality, and privacy. - Communicate ef...
