Job Summary: Job Description: Overview: Under general supervision, the Sanitation Training and Development Specialist is responsible for performing skilled and lead work training Sanitation Truck Drivers on all types of refuse collection trucks. Trains employees to provide collection service to customers on assigned routes, including safely and efficiently collecting garbage and recycling materials, and brush and bulky items. Instructs employees on procedures to transport collected materials to appropriate City disposal or processing facilities and the proper way to operate, maintain, and care for equipment.
