Clinic Services Specialist - OBGYN - ( 26003062 ) Description The University of Iowa Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Clinic Services Specialist at our Medical Center University (MCU) OBGYN Clinic. Under general supervision, the Clinic Services Specialist is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and visits in multiple outpatient clinics using the EPIC system. Will perform scheduling, reception functions and telephone coverage in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology including obtaining and/or completing documentation and providing factual information requiring knowledge of both the assigned and related work areas. Included in general functions are co-pay collection, appointment scheduling face to face, use of the work queue, and coordination with multiple departments. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides consultation, comprehensive treatment planning and a broad range of services for patients with normal and high-risk pregnancies and for gynecology, including oncology and reproductive endocrinology.
