Job description
- Build and assemble cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures using various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic. - Inspect completed items for accuracy, cleanliness, and flaws, ensuring they meet quality standards before installation. - Fill, sand, and finish assembled units - Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials - Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, drawers, locks, and other accessories - Measure, mark, and cut parts according to specifications - Ability to lift heavy items and work in various positions, including standing for long periods. - Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during assembly and find effective solutions. - Read and interpret blueprints and other drawings to determine the type and dimensions of parts to be constructed - Maintain tools and equipment in clean and good working condition - Maintain safety standards - Ability to use hand tools, and power tools to cut, shape and join materials - Attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to use measuring instruments - Ability to assemble parts with accuracy - Ability to follow directions and work independently - Strong focus o...
