Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting: Diagnosing issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics - Independent Operation: Unlike entry-level Tech I roles, a Tech II is expected to work independently, exercise judgment, and operate a full range of specialized tools and equipment. - Electrical & Control Systems: Maintains basic electrical circuits and may handle specialized control systems like PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or telecommunication equipment. - Preventative Maintenance: Performs routine upkeep, including lubrication, calibration, and part fabrication to prevent system failures. - Administrative documentation: Maintaining detailed repair and maintenance records. - Fabrication: Creating or modifying parts as needed. - Adjustments: Calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
