Program requires 450 hours per year of worksite training (~10-20 hrs/week) Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient - Youth Apprentice As Needed: Oshkosh: Major Responsibilities: Observes and assists the pharmacy department to gain knowledge of the pharmacy technician role to determine career path options while in high school. Learns and demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members and patients. Learns and demonstrates competency in dispensing and delivery of medications. This includes developing competence in the department’s use of information systems, technology, and automation used for dispensing and storage of medications. Learns and demonstrates competency in prescription processing, including obtaining required patient information, data entry, record keeping, insurance verification and label generation.
