Our Associate Therapist Training Program is designed for early-career clinicians who want hands-on experience working with adolescents navigating acute mental health challenges. You’ll gain exposure to both residential and outpatient settings while building confidence in your clinical voice and skillset. You will work on-site at our three residential locations at Walnut Creek, Lafayette, and Danville locations. In this role, you’ll support both programs by completing biopsychosocial assessments, stepping into the role of Primary Therapist for assigned clients, and providing coverage as needed. As a Primary Therapist, you’ll lead DBT skills groups, facilitate individual and family therapy, and complete clinical documentation within required timelines.
