Description The Public and Community Health Programs in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track) specializing in Global Health with an anticipated start date of Aug 16th, 2026. We define Global Health as an interdisciplinary field that addresses health within and across nations, emphasizing social, economic, cultural, environmental and political drivers of health. Areas of expertise are open and may include (but are not limited to) the following: Maternal and Child Health, Migration and Health, and Community Engaged Approaches. The typical teaching load is 2 courses per semester and involves teaching B.A, B.S., and B.P.H students. There may be opportunities to occasionally teach a graduate level course at the Hudson College of Public Health at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus. This position will develop and teach an Introduction to Global Health course to be incorporated into the program curriculum with the potential to evolve into a core requirement or serve as a gateway for a future certificate or track.
