Description Position: Cake Decorator (Pastry Cook): Location: Hive Bakery & Cafe: Shift: 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Full-time Reports to: Pastry Chef, Hive Bakery & Cafe Position Summary: The Pastry Cook/Cake Decorator is responsible for the scaling, production, baking, and assembling according to our recipes, procedures, quality expectations, and speed levels. Responsibilities: Accountabilities: Qualifications: Food Preparation: - Prepare food according to recipes, procedures, and standards within allowable time guidelines. - Pay close attention to detail when scaling ingredients and following recipes. - Maintain assigned par levels of food items. Operational Duties: - Maintain, stock, restock, clean, and organize the work area. - Complete opening, side, and closing duties in a timely manner following established standard operating procedures. - Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment. - Complete and pass required training classes and modules – both initial and ongoing.
