The Section Digital and High-Frequency Electronics at the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is opening a new position at the level of Engineer Researcher. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated researcher to contribute to the development of next-generation robotic systems for infrastructure monitoring and maintenance. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of advanced robotic solutions, as well as supporting related administrative and project activities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and evaluate robotic systems for infrastructure inspection and maintenance applications. - Conduct experimental testing and validation of robotic platforms. - Contribute to ongoing research activities and support teaching-related tasks within the team. - Assist in the preparation of research proposals and actively contribute to securing external funding opportunities. - Participate in project management and administrative duties as required.
