APC Facility Control Operator

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, operation, and problem resolution related to facilities infrastructure including but not limited to UPS/Generator/Critical Cooling, Building Automation, and Fire Life Safety Systems. This position makes critical decisions that affect Mission Critical Infrastructure, and building occupants, including evacuations/shelter in place, elevator entrapments, etc. Responsibilities also include the monitoring and coordinated response at statewide mission critical sites. The control room is staffed 24x7x365 for infrastructure monitoring, diagnosis and resolution and fire life safety responsibilities. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - High school graduate or equivalent preferred and 2-year Technical associate's degree preferred - Provide current license for at least one of the following 3 current certifications: (Will have to submit prior to interviewing) - - Active State of Alabama HVAC Contractors License - - Active State of Alabama Electrical Contractors License - Active State of Alabama Master Plumber License - Basic knowledge of the functionality of Infrastructure Monitoring/Management Tools including Foreseer, OUA, Desigo, Honeywell, along w...
