Description TRANSFER DRIVER: Reports To: Truck Sales Support Manager Summary: The Transfer Driver will shuttle trucks from branch to branch or from branch to customer on an on-call, as needed, basis. The transfer driver may also pick up units at the manufacturer or upfit locations. Adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocol is required. This position may also be a part time position and have limited hours. Key Responsibilities: - Conducts maintenance checks utilizing the vehicle maintenance form to record safety and functionality of assigned vehicle. - Maintain assigned vehicles cleanliness (interior & exterior) in accordance with company policy. - Plan route for efficient delivery while maintaining positive expectations. - Ensure all trucks are delivered safely and accurately to locations. - Collect, secure, and properly documentation for all trucks delivered. - Other duties as assigned.
