Job description

We are seeking an engaging and reliable Art Instructor to design and lead hands-on “Make & Take” craft workshops and guided group painting sessions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating approachable, fun art experiences for participants of varying skill levels. Responsibilities include planning simple, creative projects; preparing materials and samples; and confidently leading small to mid-sized groups through step-by-step instruction. Events may range from weekly workshops to 1–2 events per month, depending on scheduling needs. The ideal candidate has experience facilitating group art activities, strong classroom or event management skills, and the ability to create a welcoming, encouraging environment that inspires creativity and participation. Your role includes managing class materials, maintaining attendance records, and working closely with students to ensure they achieve their artistic goals. As a passionate advocate for the arts, you’ll also promote programs, encourage participation, and provide mentorship to both youth and adults.
