Job description
The Opportunity (Vacancy: New Headcount) Reporting directly to the Manager, Facilities, this role is responsible for overseeing the Town’s physical security infrastructure and operational readiness across Town-owned and operated facilities. You will monitor and maintain security systems, coordinate incident response activities, and support the ongoing safety and resilience of municipal facilities through proactive security operations and technical system oversight. You will be responsible for administering CCTV and access control systems, supporting emergency response activities, and ensuring compliance with corporate security and privacy protocols. As the Coordinator, Corporate Security Operations, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to: - Administer and maintain the Town’s CCTV video surveillance, access control, alarm, and security monitoring systems to support operational readiness and facility security - Coordinate and respond to security incidents, alarms, public inquiries, emergency situations, and requests for CCTV footage in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements - Monitor and troubleshoot security technology systems, conduct...
