Description The adjunct instructor will teach a section of LING 110 Intro to Linguistic Analysis in the Fall 2026 term, which serves as the gateway course to the major and the prerequisite for almost every other course in the department. In LING 110, students learn how linguists uncover the hidden rules behind language, from the sounds that make words to the structures that shape meaning. The course introduces all the major subfields of linguistics (phonetics, syntax, semantics, and more) through hands-on data analysis and real-world examples. The adjunct instructor must be able to teach this crucial foundation of our program. Qualifications: PhD or close to completion. Application Instructions: Applicants must provide an updated CV.
