Shift: Days Job Type: Full Time: Position Summary: Reporting to the DCQI, the Quality Review nurse supports the medical staff and hospital in identifying opportunities to improve the quality and safety of care for patient through data analysis and process improvement efforts. This position uses rigorous case and statistical analysis to identify gaps in performance and leads multidisciplanary teams to achieve the facilities goal of being a Top 10% hospital for quality and safety. Minimum Education: - Current BSN or associate in nursing with significant quality and clinical experience. - Prefer MSN, MHA or MBA License/Certificates/Credentials: - One to three years experience in an acute care setting. - Proficient in Excel including data analysis and QI Macros for statistical reporting. - Experience with facilitating process improvement in an acute care setting required. - Current California RN licensure. - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality preferred within 1 year of hire. - Certification in Lean or Six Sigma for Healthcare preferred.
