Description The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time tenure-track position at the assistant professor level with a 9-month academic appointment, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning fall 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach at the graduate as well as undergraduate level; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department's activities; and serve the university, college, department, and profession. About the Department: The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution is unique among the 15 departments within the College of Engineering, due to its strong focus on applied research and undergraduate education. This department consists of four distinct undergraduate programs and three graduate programs - two distance education and one resident graduate program.
