Job Summary: Work with Government Affairs team on policy research, development and advocacy communication across multiple states. Work with the Vistra company PACs on various activities. Work on a capstone project to be presented to Government Affairs leadership at the end of the internship. Job Description: - Responsible for collaborating on the development of company policy positions on key priority issues on energy reforms, environmental, tax and finance, and emerging electric industry transformational opportunities. • Monitor priority legislative committees and work with Government Affairs Public Policy to communicate key issues internally. • Work directly with lobbyists to advocate company positions. • Support PAC activities: communications, recruitment, giving strategies and some administrative activities.
