Digital Production Group Student Assistant

Job description

Undergrad student wage position for up to 20 hours week in summer 2026. More work hours may be possible depending on regulations/restrictions and/or individual availability and interest in alignment with the unit budget. There may be some possibility that this job could continue into the 2026-2027 academic year. We are looking for students with experience and/or interest in photography and associated book work or library work. This is for the Digital Production Group or DPG, a UVA Library unit in Shannon, that photographs rare materials and also rare but still circulating books that we consider to be 'medium rare.' We anticipate hiring up to four students for work this summer (2026).It may be possible for some work to continue into the 2026-2027 academic year.
