- $39.94 per hour+ super + opportunity for overtime - Early AM shift - Full time, permanent role based in Ayr QLD The Opportunity: Based at our Ayr Qld branch, we are seeking an experienced, mature-minded leader to step into the role of Drivers Leading Hand. This position requires a suitably qualified and experienced HR Driver, ideally with a background in waste management or a similar service-based industry. The successful candidate will have proven experience in scheduling and work allocation, demonstrate strong leadership capability, and be confident in having crucial conversations with staff when required. As a Driver - Leading Hand , you will be responsible for: - Leading and supporting a team of drivers, along with supporting our Operations Supervisor - Setting rosters and coordinating driver runs - Operating waste collection vehicles such as sidearm or hook lift - Ensuring all prestart checks are carried out and drivers depart depot on schedule - Assist with training new drivers and supporting ongoing team development - Completing all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required About You: - Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimum - Experience in the waste, trans...
