Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is currently accepting applications for a Process Engineer I to support our Design Center in Corpus Christi, TX. The Process Engineer I will be responsible for completing project specific objectives, on time, under the direction of the Sr. Process Engineer. - Develops Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Heat and Mass Balances (HMB) - Develops Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Process / Mechanical Equipment Datasheets - Performs hydraulic analysis and calculations for piping systems. - Develops process simulations. - Performs calculations for sizing and rating various equipment like pumps, horizontal and vertical vessels, heat exchangers, and air coolers. - Develops line lists, specialty items and piping tie-in lists. - Prepares instrument process datasheets. - Writes Process Description and Process Design Basis. - Devises new approaches to problems encountered, receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects. - Works as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of the subject matter or the functional area of the assignment. - Follows project responsibiliti...
