Position Title: Neuropsychologist III Department: Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Clinic Job Description: An OU Health Neuropsychologist applies theories and principles of neuropsychology to evaluate and diagnose disorders of higher cerebral functioning and may formulate and administer programs of treatment. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Performs neuropsychological evaluation of patients from a wide variety of neurological or medical illnesses that have implications for cognitive, behavioral or emotional functioning in individuals. Provides consultation to physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding neuropsychological assessment and resulting cognitive, emotional or behavioral symptoms, and makes diagnostic, etiologic and treatment recommendations. Diagnoses and treats illnesses of the central nervous system with cognitive, behavioral or emotional sequelae.
