Lead Fleet Mechanic

Description The Lead Fleet Mechanic is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of Northern Concrete automotive fleet as well as light and heavy-duty construction equipment. This is position will report to the Shop Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: · Prioritize all work in the most efficient manner to achieve minimum fleet downtime and while organizing and coordinating the workflow of staff. · Sees that all repair orders, PM lists and parts accountability are completely documented. · Determines vehicle and equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts. · Performs adjustments and alignments to correct vehicle deficiencies. · Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete required repairs on company equipment. · Ensures that all preventative maintenance is performed and within company standards. · Ensures that all vehicle deficiencies are addressed by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, clutches, air conditioning, fuel system, emission, brake, steering, hydr...
