Supervises test technicians in a laboratory support function for Automotive Safety Products Division Production and Engineers. Maintains responsibility for performing analytical laboratory tests on miscellaneous materials, components and processes utilized in the manufacture of automotive airbag products. Ensures that data gathered and analyzed on chemical and/or physical properties is accurate and reliable for quality control purposes. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Understands and applies specific Company safety regulations and procedures associated with the testing and analysis of chemical and/or physical properties of materials, components and processes. 2. Receives assignments and instructions from Department Supervisors and ensures laboratory procedures and guidelines are followed during chemical and/or physical property testing activities. 3.
