The Customer Service Rep I provides consistent, exceptional support of daily activities with customers, sales representatives, internal customers and department members in maintaining proper level of service. Primary Responsibilities: Provide timely support regarding customer inquiries, orders and problem situations of a routine nature. Coordinate involvement with CSR II’s and CS Supervisors as required. Review and process incoming orders accurately, including but not limited to confirming contact and billing information, pricing and promotions. Support CSR II’s with daily activity flow to promote prompt customer response. Generate written freight price quotations through RateMaker. Manage customer portals both internal and external. Assist in mail collection and distribution. Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contribute to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code.
